First off, I want to thank God for allowing me to continue doing what I love, making music, expressing myself through this art form. This is my third and final single that will be part of a 6 song EP (coming out this fall!) consisting of all my singles and their acoustic counterparts.
I wrote this song during my Freshman year of college. It was originally a poem expressing those late-night feelings of homesickness. I remember writing it while looking out the window of my dorm at three in the morning, longing to be home and feeling so distant from my loved ones, just feeling empty. I wrote some chords and it eventually just evolved into a love song.
This song means a lot to me and is one of the most meaningful songs I've written. I hope you enjoy it, and God bless.
